PeraSafe powder provides a fast and safe solution for the sterilisation of medical equipment that cannot be heat sterilised. Available in an 81g resealable container, PeraSafe is supplied as a stable, inactive powder that can be activated for use by dissolving in tap water. This forms a highly effective biocidal solution effective against a range of pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores, preventing them being transmitted between patients via flexible endoscopes, ultrasound probes and other reusable, heat sensitive medical devices.

PeraSafe powder 81g makes up 5L of sterilising solution. Its aldehyde-free formulation ensures that it is biodegradable and health risk free whilst being an effective method of sterilisation. Ten minutes of contact immersion achieves sterilant level decontamination across the microbiological spectrum. PeraSafe has been proven efficient against viruses such as HIV and Hepatitis B & C, bacteria such as Ps. Aeruginosa, mycobacteria fungi such as Candida albicans and spores such as B. subtilis.
