The sterile travel first aid kit is designed specifically to be taken to
countries where the levels of hygiene are lower than the UK. When the sterility
of medical disposables cannot be guaranteed this kit can be passed to a
qualified person to minimise the risk of cross-infection or further spread of
disease when administering first aid.
